Stage 3 Assignment:

Assignment products due from each individual:

1. Paper RiverBody object with ribbons and analytic test notations

2. On a 30”x40” horizontal drawing, present the following work:

3. Photoshop sequence montage of body position in environmental flow testing, before RiverBody

4. Photoshop sequence montage of RiverBody construction: with arrows, dotted lines and text/sequence notations/numerals to explain construction process

5. Photoshop sequence montage of RiverBody in sunlight/air/water environment, recording sunlight/air/water flow with photos overlaid with highlighted elements, and coded explanatory dotted lines, arrows, text and sequence numbers

6. All photo montage series to be RiverBody object and sunlight/air/water context only--no backgrounds!

7. All photos to be black and white unless selected components are highlighted in original color and/or with infill colors for coding and annotation purposes

8. Using Autocad or similar software, place a photo layer into your Autocad file, and carefully draw accurate plans, sections and elevations of your RiverBody

9. Using Autocad, draw the overlaid point geometry projected previously onto your RiverBody, and draw onto these plans and sections with dotted lines and arrows and relevant notations all of the recorded and extrapolated air and wind flows, turbulence, sunlight and shade patterns, and the invisible smells, sounds and sensations that have impacted or are anticipated to impact your RiverBody.

10. These should be beautiful, well-crafted black and white line drawings with a wide range of line weights.

11. Using transparency, create a 4 dimensional, time based photo montage overlaying all of the RiverBody positions indicating all phases of tidal flow in your designated river position.

12. By teams, create a full river composition by compositing all of the individual river positions into a single long composition of the full river system through Taipei from the mountains to the ocean,

13. Use a 3-d computer modeling software to create a hidden line or wire-frame drawing of the full river composition according to a rigorous analysis of the photo montage.

14. Create a single beautiful composition of all of these photomontage and drawings series and present for review and discussion on Monday

Sunday September 23: Formal Review of all the above work: Stages 1, 2, 3

Bring all objects and drawings created thus far and carefully hang them as a formal exhibition.
